Sleeples Nights

Ava has a MAJOR sleep problem...maybe not so major but it is very tiring...literally! She sleeps but at all the wrong times!! I really try to get her to bed early but the earliest she is not jumping off the walls is between 12-1am! If I can actually get her to bed early she will wake up a few hours later as if she just took a nice nap. I put Ava down tonight at 10pm and Christian and I went to bed at 11pm. Well what do you know?...it is now 11:30pm and Ava is awake and her crazy little self! I have tried depriving her of naps all day and putting her down early but she wakes up a few hours later when I do that! I am thinking about waking her up at 7-8am and trying to get her on an earlier schedule.
I really don't know what to do?? Maybe she is just a night person. What time do your kids go to bed? Any suggestions??? HELP!!

Did i really say that about your drawers? how rude am I?
Sorry and guess what I had no room to talk my clothes were in piles when I was in high school.

You just have to let her cry and put herself back to sleep, otherwise you will be training her to wake up at that time forever (Please trust me on this, Ella just barely sleeps through the night and she is 5).
there is a book called "solving your childs sleep problems"(disorders) or something like that and its written by a Dr. It might be hard to let her cry but after a few nights you are done.....and no baby has ever died from crying.
Stop letting her drink Coke too....(:

I make my mom and dad keep coke from her!! And I do think I need to make her cry herself to sleep but I am going to wait until we are not living with my parents because it keeps them up!!

I'm so sorry...from all I've read ( I don't have any personal experience...thank goodness) you really do just have to let them cry themselves to sleep. Even if you are at your parents. Otherwise she'll just learn that she gets to get up if she cries. But you do what you need too!! I'm glad it's not me though! So seriously, GOOD LUCK!!!
